The Pebble Trust has developed the guide in partnership with John Gilbert Architects, the Scottish Ecological Design Association (SEDA) and Historic Environment Scotland.

The Pebble Trust has a vision of a more sustainable, equal and low-carbon society. The Trust is an environmental grant giving body and focuses their activities in the Highlands. COSLA & Scottish Government are currently carrying out a joint Local Governance Review. To round off the engagement phase, “Democracy Matters”, we will be holding a series of regional events to bring together those who have already had Democracy Matters conversations, and others who have not yet had the chance, to reflect on the emerging themes, and what these tell us about what needs to happen next.
